It has been designed and
assigned to help the student synthesize the role of the nurse in
public/community health endeavors, particularly related to environmental issues
affecting society. Like a debate, a
position paper presents one side of an arguable opinion about a topic or issue.
The goal of a position paper is to convince the audience that your opinion is
valid and defensible.
Take one side of the argument and persuade your
audience that you have well-founded knowledge of the topic being presented.
It is important to support your argument with evidence to ensure the
validity of your claims, as well as to refute the counterclaims to show that
you are well informed about both sides. Be certain to consider all sides
and present the issue clearly (total 35 pts):

the references and cover page. Please keep this in mind when

The paper MUST be submitted through SafeAssign.
The paper
is reviewed via SafeAssign, a software program that checks for originality of
content and provides an originality report. As we have discussed throughout the
term, the importance of referencing our work and giving credit where credit is
due is paramount. In cases where you have not properly cited or incorrectly
cited, SafeAssign notes this. The intent is not to be punitive but to be clear
about original work. With this in mind, I’m asking you to not submit your paper
until you are certain that it is your final version. Although blackboard will
allow up to two submission attempts, SafeAssign will scan your document each
time it is submitted and the originality report for your second attempt will be
