Book Review
You are required to write a Book Review and an Essay in this course. The topics and due dates are identified below. Each should be 5-6 pages long. These Papers should clearly focus on a well-defined thesis, providing clear, rigorous evidence to support each claim. The essays should not reiterate the readings or rehearse their arguments, nor should they recap basic concept and claims discussed in class lecture; they should instead define your own original and clear line of argument and thinking drawing on evidence and examples you have discovered.
Topic : Explain how the Pine Barrens as described in John McPhee’s book of the same title represent both a completely unique ecosystem on one hand, and a microcosm of New Jersey on the other.
