This assignment provides the opportunity to explore and connect Psychology and Self Care over the spring break schedule.
“Self-care is the joy of recharging our tanks ” (Koslowitz, 2019).
COVID-19 has impacted our lives in so many ways and will continue to impact our lives for the foreseeable future making self-care more important to our daily lives (Powell-Lunder, 2020).
Steps to complete for this assignment:
Define Self-Care
Select five activities you are willing to try: List and describe each
Your log starts 4/6 and you began practicing your selected activities at least three for a week. Keep a log for the 7 days using the attached chart.
When the one week practice period is over, reflect on your personal experience answering the following questions: (use full paragraphs to answer the questions 4 – 5 sentences each.)
What was the most enjoyable activity and why?
What was the most difficult activity and why?
What activity can you incorporate into your daily life going forward and how? Be specific.
