This is a business plan on Optimizing video monitoring for High-Quality patient care in hospitals (instead of having a sitter by the bedside, they video monitor the patients with an iPad). The paper has to include:
-Cover Page
-One-page executive summary (for the business plan) or a cover letter (for the grant proposal).
-Introduction – Why is this important? Include your Problem Statement. How does the project affect nursing microsystems?
-Market Analysis – How will this differentiate the organization or compete within the community? Make sure to include a SWOT analysis.
-Project Descriiption – Include SMART Objectives. Who are your stakeholders?
-Financial Analysis and an annual budget prepared for two years (start-up and second year of the program) is required.
-A financial analysis (such as break-even, cost-benefit, or cost-effectiveness) must be included to demonstrate the feasibility of the project and justify its funding.
-The paper must also include a market analysis (for the business plan) or needs assessment (for the grant proposal).
-A Gantt Chart (timeline for the project containing major milestones)
-Conclusion. What happens if the organization doesn’t accept the proposal and move forward with your team’s project?
-Reference Page
-Appendices (as needed)
