III. Your cultural background (COMPARE THAILAND AND CANADA) and the influence of Hofstede’s 4 dimensions of culture (Power Distance, Individualism, Uncertainty Avoidance and Masculinity).
– Describe your cultural roots back three generations (country where your parents, grandparents and or great grandparents claim as ‘their heritage’).
– Juxtapose (compare) your cultural heritage in relation to Hofstede’s Canadian dimensions using Hofstede’s tool ( – identify any prevailing differences.
