Podcasting is another technology that allows people to record and post audio, spoken word and music online easily, quickly and most importantly freely. More importantly, social networking sites have changed the way we learn and the way we live. Although there are many benefits to social networking we must decide if they have a place in the educational community and if so – just what that place is. What are the benefits and dangers of using social networking for both teachers and students? You will have to research social networking sites and decide whether or not they have a place in the education community. Please be prepared to defend your answer using specific examples and include URLs of social networking sites you explored.
