Requirement Description – Please I want you to use research journal papers from 2010 to 2022 Research Topic: Investigating the relationship between Acculturation, Dietary Habits and Various Behavioral Risk Factors in the Prevention of Chronic Diseases Among West-African Immigrant Adults. Exposure: Acculturation, dietary habits Outcome: Chronic diseases (type2 diabetes, obesity, hypertension, heart diseases) Covariables: age, gender, level of education, income level, employment status, marital status, and country of origin The long-term goal of this study is to prevent chronic diseases such as obesity, Type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and heart diseases among West African immigrants in US, through a better understanding of individual, interpersonal and environmental factors that cause high acculturation to US diets. The purpose of the study is to 1. Explain and examine the impact of acculturation on dietary habits and other risk factors in developing chronic health conditions in West African immigrant living in the United States. 2. The study seeks to gain an indepth understanding of the perception of food and barriers associated with dietary habits and other risk factors in developing chronic diseases among WA immigrants. Research Questions: (a) Is there a relationship between risk of chronic disease and acculturation by length of stay and English proficiency among WA immigrant adults in the US? (b) Is there a relationship between risk of chronic diseases and food practices and dietary habits among WA immigrant adults in the US? (c) Is there a relationship between risk of chronic diseases and other behavioral risk factors among WA immigrant adults? (d) Does sociodemographic and cultural differences affect the risk of chronic diseases among WA immigrants. (e) Are there barriers to healthy eating among West African Immigrant adults in the United States? 1. Write an introduction/background. 2. Write a literature review.
