Extra instruction: This is the reflective essay after the group presentation. The professor points out we should think about the choices given for question4 “How often do you use social media?” She said the time slot we gave not accuracy. We need to make a clear define how long is long. You can do a research of the average time people usually spend on social media per day. And another point she said was our sample size is too small. You can reflect this on limitation part.

Reflection on team work: At the beginning the efficiency is low and we spent 3 weeks discussing about our research topic and research questions. This lead to there is few time for us to prepare the presentation and go deep into the findings. We wanna combine identity theory and social situations to conduct this study but finally we focused more on the use motivations. For further study we can focus on how social media affect users’ mental health and behavior.
