Identifying and critiquing research quantitative or qualitative designs (i.e. descriptive, correlational, quasi-experimental, and experimental), including describing the manipulation or treatment (if appropriate), controls used to strengthen the design, etc. Apply your discussion to an article by giving examples from an article–like the one you are using in your PICOT assignments. For example, it is acceptable to cut and paste from the article, the description of the design, and the procedures put in place to ensure that the design was followed.
