As we discussed in class, you are required to take a capstone course to fulfill your IDSC degree requirements. The capstone can be an internship (you would enroll in IDSC 4923 for this) or it can be a thesis (you would enroll in IDSC 4923 until IDSC 4933 is available). You will enroll in the capstone course for the semester that you will work your internship or write your thesis paper.
By creating an internship or thesis proposal, you will be able to articulate what you’re hoping to gain from your final IDSC capstone course. This proposal will also allow your academic advisor and the IDSC Faculty Advisory Board to ensure they can support you in reaching your desired academic goals.
