As a consultant, you will often be tasked with assessing organizational cultures and providing advice to organizations regarding ways to change that culture in order to develop and/or enhance organizational creativity, cohesiveness, leadership, and values. To help you gain some experience with this process, this assignment will require you to make contact with a client. (This client organization may be external to or within your current organization). Please note that this is a professional document from your consulting firm to your client and should be professionally formatted (please see the DSL writing guidelines in the ‘Start Here’ section of the course. You can find useful professional report templates in MSWord.
The organization must be willing to let you consult and have a representative group of people in the organization complete the OCAI (Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument) based on the competing values framework. Using the OCAI results, write a report to the senior leadership of the client organization presenting your results and recommendations.
