Assignment Instructions ? From the resource section, open a new copy of the OTES Self-Assessment and complete the rubric addressing each standard. ? Retrieve your first assignment, Educator Self-Assessment, Portfolio Element 1.1. ? Compare the ratings on both documents. ? Retrieve your second assignment, Educator Goal Setting Tool, Portfolio Element 1.2 and review the goals you had created for areas of growth on your Professional Growth Plan. ? Write at least a four page final reflection following the instructions below: o For each of the Ohio Standards for the Teaching Profession, explain what you have learned as a result of the IPTI and address any changes in your responses from your initial assignment to the present. If your responses have not changed in an area, provide an explanation as to why that is the case. Note: you are being assessed on the thoughtfulness and quality of your reflection, not whether your results have changed. o Identify two or three things you have learned through the IPTI that you believe are the most useful to you and explain why that is the case. o Revisit your goals from assignment and explain whether or not those goals are still appropriate. ? Revise and complete the Professional Growth Plan one more time, expanding all sections based on what you have learned in the IPTI and know about yourself and your priorities for continued professional growth. This document will be submitted in addition to your final reflection. All documents will be attached, as well as the Instructions and rubric for the assignment.
