Discuss disease impact on public health and/or epidemiological concerns. Historical impacts of disease and disease process on populations. Paper should include an overview, background, etiology, pathophysiology, patient presentations, differential diagnosis, work-up, treatments, guidelines, medications and/or surgical treatments, prognosis. Paper will follow AMA writing format and include references, minimum of 5 references. Grading will be based on above referenced outline, composition, grammar and overall quality of work.
