For this project, you will conduct a one-on-one interview with an entrepreneur from an industry of your choice using the following questions as a guide:
What are your day-to-day functions as an entrepreneur?
What do you think are the most important qualities for someone to excel in entrepreneurship?
What do you like best about being an entrepreneur?
What professional skills are important for becoming an entrepreneur?
What advice do you have for aspiring entrepreneurs?
You will identify the name, type of business, and name of your interviewee. Be sure to write detailed answers to each question. Once your one-on-one interview has concluded, be sure to thank your participant. You will discuss your findings and summarize your collective experience with the interview process in a 2 to 3-page report which elaborates on the following concepts:
What insights have you gained from the experience?
How does this experience change or confirm your perspective on entrepreneurship?
What are your three greatest takeaways from your interview?
