The first five chapters of the textbook covers a lot of ground from the time frame of pre-history all the way to the eve of the American Revolution. In this discussion board make an initial posting concerning three specific events from this time period of these first five chapters that you did not know and that you found to be interesting about before the semester began. Did learning about these topics influence your views about American history (positively or negatively)? Post a lengthy couple of paragraphs (5-8 sentences per paragraph) imparting what you learned to others in the class here. Keep the writing in your own words and opinions. Let others in the discussion board hear your voice in your writing. Don’t copy and paste information from websites.
