Students will write a case study (1/2 pg.) regarding a particular, fictional, close relationship and the current communication problems within said relationship. Students will then choose a theory to explain and address the distress in the relationship (2 pgs.). Finally, students will offer their experiential expertise (grounded in research) about the ways in which this situation can be navigated that fosters well-being for all parties involved (4 pgs.). (6.5 pgs. total)
-The relationship discussed (the case study) should not be someone from a movie, etc. This should be something that you have seen/experienced (and completely de-identified the people involved) OR a completely made up situation that you crafted.
