thinking and argumentation based on the close reading of The Death of Ivan
Ilych. The paper
has to identify and provide insight into Literary Realism with
a focus on two themes highlighted in The Death of Ivan Ilych – MORTALITY and
SOCIETY & CLASS and how these two themes are intertwined. In your analysis please utilize the meaning of the symbols of
PHOENIX and BLACK SACK from the novella.
