Canoe Way: The Sacred Journey and our Local Putallup Tribe

The annual Canoe Journey is an inter-tribal event, and our closest of the Salish people is the Puyallup Tribe. We are seeing a cultural Renaissance in our state! The “circle becomes whole” (Ralston).
Assignment: Write at least 400 to 500 words in multiple paragraphs on the significance of bringing back the Sacred Canoe Journey for the tribes and what you have learned about the Puyallup Tribe. After all our indigenous people have been through, this Renaissance in the Puget Sound/the Salish Sea region is unparalleled.
Refer to the film “Canoe Way: The Sacred Journey,” include the “Paddle to Nisqually” 2016,”the “Power Paddle to Puyallup” 2018, and also include what you learned from the “Puyallup Tribe in Current Times.” Do some critical thinking about what this revival of the sacred journey means to our local tribes: their culture, their resilience, and their youth, as well as their ventures into the marijuana business and organized strength to stand up against the LNG plant.
You do not need to cite in this homework paragraph or use the sandwich pattern with quotes, but be very specific in your details so that I can see clearly how you bring in specific things you learned from this week’s material.
