Please read
the “Volkswagen Scandal” case and write a comprehensive case analysis. Your
essay should be between 1200 and 1500 words (not including references).
Please make
sure your essay addresses these issues:
1. Provides a visual representation of
the stakeholders in this case using the Stakeholder Circle (See Week 2) along
with an explanation of why the stakeholders have the priority they do, and an
explanation of the ethical relationships between stakeholders—i.e., whether
they have any obligations to each other and if they do, what these are.
2. Uses models and concepts from your readings
and class lectures up to this point. Models and concepts must be used
and not merely mentioned. Concepts explain ethical problems and models help to
solve them.
3. Recognizes moral complexity by
pointing out the differing needs of various stakeholders and the ethical
justifications for different paths-of-action while suggesting an optimal
solution that considers the needs of as many stakeholders as possible.
