A literature review or background essay (1350-1600 words) on the Syrian refugee crisis, specifically the conditions internally and externally preventing them from returning to Syria.
Paper can either be an annotated bibliography of at least 10 sources around the topic. Minimum 6-8 peer-reviewed papers, 2-4 can be technical reports from credible organizations. Not media coverage (i.e. no news articles etc.)
OR
A Literature review summarizing the topic with sources.
Both the above options must include a brief introduction and a summative conclusion on key findings/trends/issues.
