Construct a Comprehensive District Assessment PlanAs a building or district-level administrator, you will be expected to construct and follow an assessment plan. This plan is comprehensive and will include the assessment processes and procedures in place. This includes the assessments used to evaluate a student for special services, progress monitoring, academic achievement, and behavior. Each would have its section and include extensive information that would allow someone to read it and implement the plan. You can use the guidelines for your state (Illinois) when writing the section for special services. Although there are federal guidelines regarding timelines for this process, states sometimes differ and require more time. It is important to include the pertinent information for your state so stakeholders understand the process. Additionally, you will provide information about your state’s (Illinois) standardized testing and alternative assessment options.
Be sure your paper includes the following:
-Overview of the history and uses of assessment
-An introduction outlining the importance and uses of assessment
-The evaluation process for special services
-The state standardized testing and alternative assessment options
-Best practices for administering assessments
-Process for Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP)
-Communication plan for stakeholders
