Topical Issue Research Paper (100 pts):
Utilize
course readings and additional readings to create a research paper identifying
your choice of an issue or disorder commonly affecting children and
adolescents. Describe how this issue impacts child/adolescent development,
identify and provide a rationale for what counseling theory is most effective
when treating children/adolescents coping with this issue, identify counseling
techniques and interventions, include multicultural and ethical considerations,
strategies for overcoming resistance, include creative interventions (as
appropriate), etc. All components should be supported by research. Paper should
not exceed 10 pages excluding references and should be in APA 7th edition
format
