Content of Paper
The following information about the historical figure should be gathered in your research and included in your paper:
Background: Describe the person’s early life / education / social history. What factors contributed to this person’s interest in social work?
Area of Interest/Service Delivery Approach: Describe the social problem(s) this person sought to address and describe the type of actions/interventions this person took to address the social problem.
Contributions to the Field: Conclude the paper by summarizing this persons contributions to the field of social work and society.
Length of Paper
The paper should be to be a total of 5-6 pages in length, to include a cover page, body of the paper (2-3 pages), and a reference page.
Please start the body of the paper with an introduction paragraph that introduces your historical figure and describes your personal interest in learning more about this historical figure. All 5 sources of information you gathered during your research need to be referenced in the body of the paper; include at least one direct quote from the historical figure.
