Register in Academic Writer Links to an external site. Sign up for an account by clicking on “Welcome”, selecting “Login” and clicking on “No account? Create one here”. Write down your username and password somewhere safe and handy to refer to later on. DO NOT check the box that says, “keep me logged in.” When there are updates to the database, your login information is erased. 4. Choose the type of source which you must create the correct citation reference. examples: journal article, newspaper article, magazine article, webpage). Do this process for each source. Once references are created in this tab use the checkboxes to choose the 5 references for the annotated bibliography. Select the “More” button at the top of the page. Choose “Create Annotated Bibliography” from the drop-down list. Then you will be prompted to create a title for your annotated bibliography. AW Add annotations to your references on the Annotations tab. You can also add the notes you wrote under each reference to enhance or edit the annotations. Please note you must use the Save button for each annotation you create in the box provided. Select Preview (top page tab) to see your annotated bibliography formatted in APA Style. Select Check References (found in the left navigation bar by clicking “Check”) to be sure references are correct. Select Choose Formatting Options for Preview and Export (Links to an external site.)
