Anil Seth proposed that overly strong predictions contribute to psychopathology. Other psychologists have emphasized the role of our pasts (e.g., childhood stress, learning) on psychopathology. Do you think that it’s important to consider how predictions contribute to psychopathology? Why? What do they have to do with consciousness?
