1. The purpose behind the proposal of a research study is to answer a question through scientific means. Some studies might be considered frivolous but in the scientific community it is important that a study provide value to improve our lives and purpose in the search for a better community. In other words, when we as scientists and researchers look to answer a hypothesis to see if we are right or wrong, we are looking to answer questions about human behavior, animal behavior, and environmental stressors that have the ultimate goal of improvement (Robertson, 2016).

When developing a research study where there is value in the discovery, the key is evolution and often the missing link is that key. Often studies are done on material that has already been researched but may have missed a key element (Robertson, 2016). For instance, in my study proposal, coaching efficacy has been looked at in the collegiate and professional level but not in the primary or secondary years of athletes. This is a group of athletes for whom coaching efficacy is the most important but very little research, mostly indirectly, has been done.

A good contribution to an existing body of literature is that which evolves and moves us forward in our knowledge and understanding of a specific subject so that we can improve on our experience.

2. When it comes to, studies, researchers are trying to add or enhance the information that has already been created. What makes new research valuable and deemed a good study is dependent on the new information found. The article “Lifting humanity from serious problems” talks about how Dr. anna has many different research topics. But what makes the studies valuable is the new or fresh perspective the information brings. Humanity is the pinnacle creation of God. Left in charge of developing, maintaining and tending to the many species and other creatures on earth. That means its up to humans to continue researching to maintain life and keep earth running. In order to do that research needs to be consistently created to add new information or different perspectives for future generations. If all the research currently used in this class was never created, we wouldn’t be as advanced as we are today.

3. A letter of recommendation can be written by a teacher, counselor, manager, or an old colleague and this can letter can be a way of vouching for your character and your qualifications for your prospective job. Having a strong letter of recommendation gives the person reviewing your application and resume a way to get to now you based on other opinions that should be good if they’re giving a letter of recommendation. Some job applications require a list of references and reference letters and even if a job doesn’t require on a letter of refence can be attached to a resume for more information. I will pick someone who knows me well, my character and speak on behalf of me also on a personal level. I would ask my most current manager or supervisor or even a manger from the ap0st that I had a good working relationship with. I will also send a letter with a formal request for a letter of recommendation, so it is done professionally and add a date to follow up with the person I ma requesting from.

4. I like that the last few discussions have been about preparing for our futures. I have received great feedback and learned greatly from others’ posts.

In my opinion, a letter of recommendation is potentially more important than the resume you present. The reason behind this logic is you create your resume. Even though we tend to be our own worst critics, we can also become an advocate for our futures when needed. On the other hand, a letter of recommendation gives your prospective employer the individual writer’s perspective and encounters with you (Emmanuel & Archibald, 2021). This allows the employer to see you through their eyes and evaluate and compare to how you presented yourself. The employer must find some similarities between the two. I have a few individuals in my life that will be writing letters of recommendation for me when the time comes. Selected individuals should be able to discuss topics like: time management skills, leadership abilities, dedication, reliability, how you handle conflict, etc. It is important that they be professional references and not personal.

My current list of individuals are my present Volunteer Coordinator, old and present employers, Mentor, and Pastor. Those individuals that strive to make you a better person by being willing to hold you accountable and calling you out when needed can tend to be your biggest advocates.
