You are aware that, for some, the request for their child to be evaluated may come as a surprise, seem frightening, or they may be upset and frustrated. Your goal is to provide consistent and accurate information to them, using language they will understand, in an effort to put them at ease and make sure they know what to expect. You have decided to make a flow chart of the assessment process as a quick reference and guide for this information.
