In our third week of discussing the verb “ser” in greater detail and adding a new meaning to it, let´s make some comparisons to English which could help us understand how one verb can be so universal. With this being said, what examples can you think of in English where one verb has so many uses or definitions? What about the verb “to get”? Think about your own examples and compare them to “ser”. How difficult would it be for a non-native speaker to learn or understand? How does that provide insight to your own understanding of Spanish?
In terms of how to express the weather, what is there still left to learn? And what would be useful?
