Explain how Surveys are a common research method used to collect targeted data from large numbers of people.

In this exercise, you will create a survey based on your chosen problem. Your goal is to create a survey with clear questions that are specifically intended to gather only the data you need—nothing more, nothing less. To do this, you must first figure out what kind of data will best contribute to the claims in your research report—and how it will bolster those claims. You also need to be cognizant of the amount of time it will take respondents to complete your survey. (Respondents will be less likely to complete the survey if it’s too long.)

To begin, review the following materials:

“Survey’s Up!” (Links to an external site.)

Survey Monkey: Best Practices (Links to an external site.)

Then, based on the problem you have chosen to study in Project 3, compose a survey using SurveyMonkey, Google Forms, or Qualtrics.

Deliverable
Submit a list of your survey questions as well as a link to your survey.
