Multicultural Dimensions of Helping in Human Service Delivery Chapter 5 describes key terms and concepts of the multiple dimensions of the multicultural helping process. To help prepare you for the Unit 6 Assignment, this discussion will examine the key concepts related to multicultural dimensions of human service programs. After completing the reading, please respond to the following: First, research and identify a program in your area of interest preferably one that exists in your community or state. Then, briefly explain the program’s purpose or mission, the location, target population/demographics, and main interventions provided within the program. For example, a behavioral health program that serves youth ages 13-18 in a certain location providing individual and group counseling interventions. From your research, how well does this program address multiculturalism and diversity? For example, does the program specifically reach out to diverse populations or does it ignore or limit the multicultural dimensions of helping? How well does the program promote social justice and respond to inequality for diverse populations?
