Please include that I am a woman of Jewish origin, my parents are immigrants from Uzbekistan. I grew up in a cultural home with very different views from peers. I learned how to integrate and embrace my culture, and not be ashamed of it. I also want to help others embrace their cultures as well. I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and moved to New York City where I can appreciate the diverse city even more. As a future speech therapist, I want to create an open and comfortable environment where everyone feels safe and appreciated. Please elaborate.
