1st personal experience project. You are being asked to experience living within the CA SNAP poverty guidelines. Take the Net monthly income for you or all the persons in your household (if they are willing) calculate how much money you have to buy food with for 1 day, 2, 3 days or 1 week (your choice).
1. Determine your household size & the correlated net monthly income.
2. Divide that net monthly income by 4 to get your monthly food allowance.
3. Divide monthly allowance by 30 to get daily allowance.
4. Multiply by the number of days in your plan.
5. Make a plan for staying in you food budget.
Example Family of 4. ($2184/4=$546) ($546/30=$18.2 per day).
I will be making food for a family of 4 for 3 days with $18.20 per day.
