Given that this is your capstone course, you have probably engaged in the NCU Commons in several other courses. This week, you will use the Commons to introduce yourself and any issue or problem you are interested in and wish to develop an intervention and solution project. For grading purposes, you will submit a Word document with the link to your post and associated references.
Follow these steps to complete and submit your assignment:
Identify a Community of Practice within the NCU Commons related to your professional interests or work contexts. Note that you may need to select “Join Group” in order to post in a community. Helpful resources, including a link to the directory of all groups, is provided in this week’s resources.
Compose introduction to your project in a Word document. Include the following information:
Degree program and specialization (if applicable)
Potential issue or problem related to educational practice
Who or what the issue or problem affects
How this issue or problem relates to your interests
Relevant background information based on data found in previous course work and additional reading this week
Justification of the significance of implementing an intervention or solution.
Other relevant information you wish to share about your project.
Copy the text of your introduction from the Word document and paste the text as a post in your selected community of practice in choice in the NCU Commons. Note that you may need to select “Join Group” in order to post in a community.
Tag your professor in your post using the “@” sign followed by your professor’s name. The job aid, Tagging in the Commons, is available in this week’s resources if you need help.
After confirming that your message posted, copy the hyperlink to the post into the same document in which you originally composed your introduction. This document, with both your introduction and the hyperlink to your specific post, is what you will submit to this week’s Dropbox.
You can find additional help at the bottom of any page in the Commons; a link to this general help page is included in this week’s resources in addition to a job aid specific to tagging someone in a post.
For your assignment submission to NCUOne, include the link to your post along with your resources in a Word document.
Length: Minimum of 250 words

The completed assignment should address all of the assignment requirements, exhibit evidence of concept knowledge, and demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the content presented in the course. The writing should integrate scholarly resources, reflect academic expectations and current APA standards
