Submit a Rough Draft of your Refutation essay. Be sure to meet word count/formatting requirements.
A successful refutation argument will do the following:
Identify the author, article, and publication of the refuted piece
Summarize the main ideas and evidence offered by the author
Analyze areas where you disagree with author
Present the counterarguments and objections in professional tone
Utilize at least two outside sources to add strength to refutation
Essay Requirements
The essay must be 1000-1500 words in length; information on the Works Cited page does not count toward this total.
The final draft of this paper should reflect a Turnitin percentage of 15% or less
Minimum of two secondary sources accessed from TCC library in addition to assigned reading
MLA format for presentation and for source documentation (in-text citations and Works Cited)
