For the reading, you can write a summary of the reading and point out its key arguments; Or you can compare the readings and write about how they approach the same topic; Or you can identify the key concepts of the readings and discuss how they are related to each other; Or you can argue if you agree or disagree with the author of the reading and why; Or you can write about the questions that the reading raised for you; Or you can write about the place of the readings in the general trajectory of film history; Etc.
For the screening, your responses to the assigned films should not be emotional. You should explain how the assigned screening/s for the week is/are related to that week’s readings.
You should submit one response each week for both the reading/s and the screening/s. Your weekly response to the reading/s and screening/s (a single post) should be at least 250 words.
