For this assignment we are using Microsoft Word and Gravit Designer. Gravit is an online vector graphic drawing program- it is browser based and has both a free and paid version (we will only be using the free version). First section of the workbook is about color harmony- you should be creating color harmonies where indicated (i.e. triadic, complementary, monochromatic, etc) not random color schemes. For the second part- we will see throughout history that landscape painting and prints really provide the impetus for artists to begin experimenting with abstraction. I have provided the files for vector graphic re-makes of classic modernist painting experiments for you to re-mix in Gravit.
