I decided to become a nurse as a second career because I wanted the ability to make a difference in someone’s life. I wanted a career that is challenging and interesting. My personal core values include accountability, openness, self respect, happiness, and growth. One nurse theorist I would choose is Joyce travelbee who uses the human to human relationship model.
