The topic proposal should be approximately one-half to one page in length and should include the following:
Specific topic you wish to research (once approved, you cannot change this).
Why it interests you.
What you already know about it.
What you would like to learn about it.
Your specific research question.
What you think your thesis statement might be (this can and probably will change)
