The assignment is a take-home exam. The professor will send an exam on March 1st around 8 AM PST and will be due at 11:59 PM PST.
Only receiving the exam on the day of, the format of the exam is not given but will likely be identifying two passages then writing around 1.5 pages on each passage, on its HISTORICAL context and why it is important to the book.
The books that need to be read to prepare for this include “Murders in the Rue Morgue” by Edgar Allen Poe, “Black Docker” by Osumane Sembene, “African Psycho” by Alain Mabanckou, and “Flutes of Death” by Driss Chraibi.
