When answering the prompt, assume your reader has not seen the film. Part of your job as the writer will be to inform your reader of the film’s thesis as well as who you assume the film’s intended audience is. The essay’s goal should be to thoroughly analyze the persuasive techniques of the film (with a focus on the rhetoric) and to convince your reader of your analysis.
