Based on the films screened in class, write a course description for a class called “African Cinema and Colonialism.”
In the description of the course, which you’ll “hypothetically” teach, you need to address the ways in which different films shown in class represent Africa’s colonial past and postcolonial problems. You can take the AFR syllabus as an example and craft a description in which you’ll also list the learning objectives of the class.
Your course description and learning objectives collectively should be about 500 words. You have the creative freedom to craft your own interesting course description, but do build on some of the topics discussed in class and depicted in the films we watched thus far.
