Writing a critical analysis on High Rates of Heat-Related
Illness Among Latino Migrant Farm Workers. There is a lot of editing that needs to be done on the research side of things because the person I had hired for help didn’t deliver quality work.
All the parts needed for the paper are listed in the instructions attached.
The purpose of this critical analysis is to examine
high rates of heat-related illness among Latino farmworkers. Below
are the specific aims.
a)
To determine
barriers to incident reporting among the target population. This will cover the
reasons why Latinos are not reporting heat-related incidents.
b)
To describe
barriers to the prevention and treatment of heat-related illness (HRI) among Latino farmworkers due to policy, cultural
beliefs, a lack of training, or resources. As reported,
many Latinos do not seek medical help when they experience occupational health-related
problems, specifically related to heat
c)
To identify a
conceptual framework to address these barriers and increase reporting of HRI or
injuries.’
Among this, I wanted to talk about 3-4 states that come up often in the literature review and talk about how they would benefit from the California Heat Illness Prevention Study (CHIPS) and their approach:
1. Workers need encouragement to adopt protective behaviors from both the employer and their direct supervisor; and incentives to follow good health practices
2. A new train-the-trainer (ToT) program was developed to increase the capacity of the HRI prevention trainings.
The contribution to the study should be in the Results portion of the paper.
The Results and Discussion were never put in.
Please take away any parts of the research done or organizational parts that do not make sense.
