This is a paper. Students will discuss both cases, and should provide information to substantiate your discussion. This paper should be well written with attention given to grammar, the depth of factual information and well thought out orderly composition. You should demonstrate your understanding of the assigned readings in your Skype Module and draw a correlation to both crimes.
Students will read both articles the information about Dorothy Fay Howard Case and the Pennsylvania Mass graves. There are several other sources on the internet concerned with both cases feel free to research the cases further. (please cite any addition resources referenced) Submit a paper using both articles. Cite how the anthropologist determine the age, sex and determined how the individuals died. Identify the differences in approach to both cases ( ex; what testing was done in both cases and what was different)
You should discuss information on how an anthropologist can assist a forensic investigation. How are human remains identified? Did both cases use these methods? provide facts. What clues might investigators find that indicate a homicide rather than a natural or accidental death? Once again discuss what methods were used in both cases. Provide anything unique about each case.
This will be graded as a weekly assessment therefore the information you provide should be thorough and well written.
