Tasks:
Create a developped thesis regarding the book Slaughterhouse Five. The thesis must bbe concrete and specific, is not simplistic or self-evident (an intelligent person must be able to disagree with your argument).
Based on your topic selection, find five scholarly sources for your research essay and write a Works Cited page with all your entries, including your primary text(s).
Then, choose three of your scholarly sources and read them carefully, making notes as you go through them. (You do not need to include these notes with your assignment.)
Write a summary of each chosen source in your own words (focus on the thesis and main arguments) and an analysis of how you plan to use it in your essay. (Guiding questions: Do you agree with the thesis and arguments? Why (not)? How does this source fit in with your analysis of the primary text(s)? What do you hope to add to your essay by using this source?) Each entry should be approximately 200 words, including the summary and the analysis.
Based on the research you have done, write an introduction to the essay, including a well-researched thesis statement. The introduction should also be approximately 200 words.
