• What is the research question and the author(s) proposed theory?
• What variables did they examine? How did they de ne and measure the variables? Which is/are the dependent and independent variables?
• What hypotheses did the author(s) present?
• What is the unit of analysis?
• What methods of data collection did the author(s) use?
• Identify the methods the author(s) used to analyze data (ie: T-Tests, Regression, etc.)
• How does this work contribute (or not) to our understanding of the problem addressed? How is it different than other work (note: they will discuss this in the literature review).
• What are the potential flaws of the study? What would you do differently?
