author achieve their purpose? Briefly summarize the content and the key
topics. What is your critical assessment of the book (its strengths and
weaknesses)? Offer personal insights, your new
understandings and feel free to share any anecdotes (if you have any). Ensure
to use terminology and discuss concepts, theories, examples, and so on as
discussed in the book. Your report needs to include connections to other
readings in the course. See how a few readings from the
course relate/ support or dispute what these books illustrate. Identify
strategies HR professionals/ organizations can implement (use resources to

Formatting
• Include a cover
page that includes the title, course details (course name, number, semester
• and year), your
full name, your professor’s name and the
date of submission
• Use regular
12-point font.
• Use standard APA
format.
• Use page numbers
• Paper should be
written in a scholarly tone and be free of spelling, typographical and

grammatical errors.

report will be marked using the following criteria:
• The degree to
which the issues have been analyzed thoughtfully; in depth and both books have
been examined.
• The degree to
which the report is well organized.
• The degree to
which the flow of the ideas is logical and well supported with citations.
• The degree to the
discussion of actual company strategies are included.
• The degree to
which practical personal, organizational and HR strategies are incorporated.
• The degree to which
the paper is free of spelling, typographical and grammatical errors.
• The degree to
which concepts and theories from the relevant course articles have been
incorporated and cited/referenced.
• The accuracy of
citations and reference list according to APA guideline
