What you learned about the artworks- this is a learning activity practicing class content, so use correct info from class, not google.

Comparison
This assignment is an opportunity to demonstrate what you’ve learned in this Module. After reading/watching the content in this Module, complete the following work based off of the information contained in the Module. Start a new thread by replying to this Discussion and answer the following prompt/s with complete sentences and proper grammar. Always use your own words, plagiarized posts will receive a zero.

Click on the three dots in the upper right, then “Show Rubric” to see how this discussion will be graded. Not following directions will result in your post losing points.

Choose any two artworks we’ve studied so far from any content pages in Module 2.
The artworks must be from different Weeks- for example, a student can’t discuss two artworks from Week 4
You can’t do the same comparison as another student- make sure that no one else has already compared the two you’ve chosen by scrolling through the posts already added to this discussion
Don’t use a reference image- this would be an image quickly mentioned to explain the main focus of the content page, it’s out of the time period, or is a diagram, map, etc. Email me if you have any questions or want to check your images
Attach both images to your post
Must be embedded (displayed)- not just a link, see how-to video below
Identify both images- title, artist if known, date/time period, culture/location, etc, just the same info provided in the Module
Write at least 10 sentences telling your classmates:
Why you chose to discuss them- quickly explain why you like them/chose them, this is not the focus of your answer
What you learned about the artworks- this is a learning activity practicing class content, so use correct info from class, not google
How they compare to each other, and how they’re different- focus on how the images exemplify their style periods/cultures, or significant innovations & features, using terminology from class
Respond to at least one classmate’s post that you find interesting- read over some classmates’ posts (this is a GREAT way to study for the Module Exam)

Advice: Don’t say “these artworks have many similarities yet also have many differences” ever, ever, in any assignment, essay or paper, ever. It’s a meaningless statement 😉
