Instructions: Read the case for each assignment carefully
from the textbook. The cases can be found in the MindTap or textbook.
After reading the information, write a response to the case by addressing all
questions located at the end of the case. Apply the concepts learned from the
textbook and your practical experience to answer the questions. Do not copy
information from the internet. Your response to the case must cover all
the discussion questions, be thorough, incorporate concepts/theories from the
text, and include independent thought that demonstrates critical thinking,
analysis, and proper application of learned material.
Requirements: These papers must be written in APA style, 4 to 6 typed pages, double space, 12-point,
Times New Roman font Word doc. Respond to the questions as a business
consultant. This is not “Yes” or “No” questions. Make sure you gather your
thoughts to communicate your opinion and logic for these questions adequately.
Your response should be coherent, grammatically correct, and concise. Take your
time to form your opinion – I want you to think, consider possibilities, and
make a well thought out decision for your responses.
Written
Report: Your report should minimally have the following elements.

Executive
Summary: This is a half-page non-technical summary of the whole report.
3.
Sub-heading for all Questions: Clearly
write the subheading for each question. Do not write the whole question.
Provide a detailed answer to each question.
4.
Practical Implications: What
are the implications of this case to business leaders, employees, and society
as a whole? What did you learn from the case?
5.
Recommendations
for Improvement: Clearly state how the organization can
improve its leadership performance based on the lessons learned from the case.
What specific measures should be taken and why?
6.
Conclusion:
Summary
of the paper highlighting the main points.
7.
Citations
and References: Provide references from the textbook and
two references from the peer review journals. You could get the journals from
google scholar or UHV Library Online: Business Complete. Do not copy from the
internet. All citations and references should be written in APA style. Sample
APA style paper is provided on the blackboard.
Deliverables
1. Page Limit:
The main text of the report should be 4 to 6 double spaced pages.
2. Editing: Read thoroughly and edit your paper before submission.
Use the grading rubric as a guide to improve your paper. Send your paper to the student-writing center
for editing.
3. Critical Points: Make
sure that your sources are reliable and not copied from the internet. The quality
of response is more important than quantity. Write everything in your own
words.
4. Academic Integrity Policy (UHV Student Handbook): The School of Business Administration upholds the honor and academic
integrity in all of its teaching, research, and service activities. All
business faculty, staff, and students are charged with the responsibility to
behave with personal and professional integrity and to refrain from
dishonorable conduct. All references should be cited appropriately. I will use
Turnitin software to check the similarity of your paper with internet sources
and other students’ work. If a case of plagiarism is identified, it will result
in a zero of the student’s project and even a failure of this course. Again, the similarity percentage should be
less than 20%.
