Write a paper on an environmental disaster where the Incident Command System was used. Identify how ICS was set up to respond to the disaster. Who were the players and what did they specifically do to manage the incident. Each incident needs to have someone in charge and people to fill different roles, and responsibilities for those roles. Effective incident management relies on a common organizational structure for managing resources, making decisions, and assigning task. Depending on the size or complexity of the incident, all these 5 major positions with specific roles and responsibilities may or may not be staffed.
