Assignment: Write a paper on formal job analysis and its impact on job security in today’s changing work environment. What is job analysis? What are the advantages and disadvantages of formal job analysis? Is job analysis a waste of time or does it helps insure that an organization is running efficiently and properly? Can job analysis encourage adoption of new technology or flexibility in the face of change? Does including the union in the job analysis process help to bring about wider acceptance, or can it introduce conflict?
